Jingle Jingle Jingle

For the past month Lilly has been pulling ornaments off the tree and attempting to unwrap gifts. Finally the Day has arrived!

Minnie Mouse stocking held the delicious goods. Only 1 year old and has a sweet tooth!

More Disney Princess dolls! Yippee!!

Just in time for tea...is it one lump or two? "Be our guest, be our guest, be our guest!"

SciFi Movie Drive In

It's Christmas Eve and there's no other place where we'd rather be than the one and only Hollywood Studios! Last time we went to our favorite park, we eyed this restaurant, SciFi Movie Drive In, so right when we got home we made reservations!!

What an experience! It's a 50's drive in movie themed restaurant. You sit in little old fashioned car and watch the big screen while eating an American dish. Yum in my tum tum.

Lilly's highchair looked like a modern space craft ready for lift off. 3-2-1 BLAST OFF!

Massive turkey sandwich and cucumber salad

The food was amazing and the best part was that I didn't have to COOK or clean! Score!!

We had such a good time. Definitely an experience to remember and do again!

Happy Holidays to Family and Friends

Merry Christmas

Happy New Year

No Work All Play

Christmas time is around the corner and presents are in hiding. However, some gifts weren't hidden well enough!

Doll bed

Lilly loved it so much she tried to snuggle inside it. Keep trying Lilly. Eventually you will find a bed that's "Just right!"

Giddy up Dad! Get a move on!

"Cheeeeeeeeese please!"

Minnie Mouse goes wherever she goes

Sam was gone for the weekend on a male bonding retreat. All Lilly would say was "Dadadadada" We missed you!

I'm so glad when Daddy comes home. Glad as I can be!
I clap my hands and shout for joy and upon his knee.
I wrap my arms around his neck and squeeze him tight like this!
I whisper in his ear and give him What? A great big kiss

Fernadine Beach

This past weekend, we drove up north to Fernandina Beach to see Lillian's great grandmother, Suzanne, and great aunt, Kimberly. Being our first time on Amelia Island, we did a little site seeing...

Fort Clinch

My favorite was seeing downtown Fernandina. We found an adorable antique shop that even Sam found interesting. I could have spent hours in that store- so many cute vintage/shabby chic toy table and chairs and doll cradles!

Lilly had no problem warming up to Great Grandma. Lilly learned to dance and shake her hips, "Dancy dancy dancy" and loves her new books and building blocks. Also Lillian has never eaten so well. Great Grandma's cooking was amazing! Yum in my tum tum!

Round and Round She Goes Where She'll Stop No One Knows

The week before Thanksgiving, Lilly had taken a couple steps here and there. The week following Thanksgiving, Lillian was walking all over and soon will be running to get from place to place!

Camera Ready

Saturday early morning, we arrived at the Magic Kingdom for the filming of the Christmas day Parade. Only cast members, family, and friends can get tickets to watch and get a chance to be on TV! We saw several wonderful musical performances. So be sure to watch for us Christmas morning on ABC.

Lights!

Camera!

Action!

Perfect timing getting to the park early. We were able to walk on several rides that usually have over an hour wait during the day. The Philarmagic 3-D show was amazing! The wind was blowing and the baked goodies smelt delicious! Just be sure to bring windshield wipers for your glasses :)

It's a small small world!

28 and Feeling Great!

It was Sweet Cheeks 28th birthday this past Friday. As soon as he got off work, we went in search for Mexican food! The closest thing to Mexican food here in Florida is tex-mex. We found a Chipolte-like restaurant and indulged with tasty burritos. Then, off to my favorite town, Celebration. Throughout the month of December, Celebration holds snow falls each night leading up to Christmas day. Also, there are greetings and pictures with Santa Claus and train rides around downtown.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Downtown Celebration, cutest town ever!

Lilly loved the snow fall and watching the children scream with laughter and fun. The "snow" was actually soap suds, but looked so real. Children were covered in bubbles and suds. Lilly can't wait to be part of all the action-she wants to be a big girl already .

Brrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

It's been nippy this past week at a whopping 60 degrees.

Winter in Florida. All bundled up ready for the park. Lillian wasn't too happy once dressed, but sure did appreciate it once we stepped outside!

Only in the Dirty South

My first impression when I heard we were moving to Florida, I thought tan hot bodies, beaches, warm weather; in a short way of putting it- Miami in the movies. Reality set in once I arrived to central Florida... Redneck central.

I have seen monster trucks in Vegas but I have NEVER seen anything as big as these wheels! Hilarious!

I have to admit this was pretty awesome. Double decker go kart track!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ultimate sky flyer was the highest thing I've ever seen. "To infinity and beyond!"

Thanksgiving

The feast we were supposed to have.

This past week was my most favorite holiday, Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, all plans to celebrate with family were foiled do to double ear infections. On a positive note, I have much to be thankful for:

~Sam, a wonderful husband who supports me and encourages me to be myself
~Lillian, a bright star who can light up any room or mood
~our health and insurance to pick up the majority of the bill
~Disney- Sam looks forward going to work every day and comes home in a pleasant mood because he believes in what he does and in the company...and I don't mind the few perks thus far
~the Gospel- I am thankful to be a daughter of God who loves me and gives me only what I can handle...I'm still struggling with cooking even after 3 years of marriage and I will continue to begin each meal with Bibbidi bobbidi boo!

We are extremely grateful for our families, and have felt the love and support even being across the country. We wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and to all a good night!

Getting into the Holiday Spirit

My most favorite holiday season is upon us and to get into the holiday spirit, we visited the Grand Floridian Resort. We heard about a gigantic gingerbread house there and needed to witness it with our own eyes.

For those ambitious holiday cooks and bakers here's a recipe for you:

Finish product: human size gingerbread house

Inside the gingerbread house they sold delicious baked goods and yummy hot drinks.

In the lobby of the Grand Floridian

If you look closely, you can see part of the gingerbread house peeking around the left side of the Christmas tree.

Birthday Bash

Lillian Rain a year ago today you came into our lives with a bang! You have turned our world upside down and we wouldn't trade you for the world. You are extremely independent and know exactly what you want. We can't get enough of your smiles and love your snorting through the nostrils when you are overly excited. In honor of your special day, we took you to Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.

Greeted at the gate with a personalized Happy Birthday button.

Handy Manny

Right now you love the Disney Playhouse TV shows especially Mickey Mouse Clubhouse because they dance to that silly song at the end of each episode... Hotdog!

At the Beauty and the Beast show starring Renee as the voice of Belle. Yes, I sang throughout the entire show. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney classic movie.

The Beast was pretty intimidating and loud, but you weren't scared one bit!

Lunch at Pizza Planet (restaurant on the Toy Story movie)

American Idol Experience

Awesome show! The singers are actually park-goers who have auditioned earlier that day. I'm impressed at some of the talent that walks in off the street. The winner received a golden ticket (front of the line pass at any American Idol audition around the country)

Lights everywhere to celebrate the holiday season with snow to top it off. The lights danced to the music. All we needed was some hot chocolate to complete the ambiance, but the 80 degree weather wasn't cooperating.

A birthday wouldn't be complete without cake and ice cream. I miss calculated the size of the princess tiara. The princesses didn't quite fit on the cake so they stood aside in support.

Lillian, you are our Princess!

Too much fun for one day!

Staycation

There is too much to see and do here so little by little we visit a resort or 2 each weekend. So this past weekend we toured Coronado Springs. Hands down one of the coolest pools yet!

Coronado Springs

Virgin Sacrifice..."We always wanted to do a sacrificial ceremony at the Mansion, but we could never find a virgin." lol Britt quick, what movie?

This month is resident appreciation month at our apartment. Donut breakfast, hotdog lunch, to a game of Live Clue- we been nothing less than entertained! Sunday night, we attended the Luau. Someone else cooking and cleaning is my idea of fun! The DJ got everyone moving and the fire and polynesian dancers were amazing. It brought back memories of the PCC.
