Trick or Treat

I love dressing Lilli up. This year she went as Sleeping Beauty.

Lil's favorite part of the costume was her wand. That day we went over to Jessica's to help with the Joy School Halloween party. Lil felt like a big kid hanging out with Max's classmates.

That evening, we went back to the Skoobs to go trick or treating with Max and Jakey. At every door Lil would hold out her bucket, look at what they gave her, and then would hold out her bucket for more. It worked every time! Too bad Sam and I ate the candy as fast as she retrieved it.

To Seattle And Back

I was so excited to go to Seattle- beautiful city, family, and what! No bag! Just a minor detail. Luckily, the airlines gave me a free toiletry bag out of pity. Unfortunately no diapers were in there but that didn't slow us down from enjoying ourselves.

Baba gave us a tour of the houses she grew up in on Capitol Hill. I'm hooked on family history and love hearing stories and seeing where my ancestors were raised.

Baba and Grandpa's home I remember visiting- watching MTV in the basement, eating salmon salad sandwiches for lunch, the calming smell of a wooden pipe and delicious coffee in the morning. I loved coming to visit our WA family and wish we came a lot more often. :)

I love Washington and the beauty it brings. There is absolutely no place like it!

Apple of My Eye

I just love this girl!! Lillibaby makes me smile. She has the sweetest personality just like her Papa. She loves being around other children especially her cousins. She is extremely friendly and wants to be part of the group. She is a character! She practices crying (no tears), and puts her face in her hands as if she is reenacting the scene when Aurora (Briar Rose) is no longer to see Prince Phillip (some man). I think she has seen Sleeping Beauty one too many times. Lil loves to where dresses- actually putting them on is another story. But once the dress is on, she is in love. I love my girly girl. She's a keeper!

Apple Hill in October

Fall has arrived and it's a must to go to Apple Hill. Apple juice, pies, BBQ, apple crisps, jams, etc. Oh so good! We met up with the Rudnicki's, Skoobs, and Oma for the day. It was Lil's first time riding a horse. She loved it- just like riding a carousel horse!

Kidister

Her new sidekick, Princess Aurora, or as most people know her, Sleeping Beauty.

When I was going up, I had a favorite doll, Kid Sister or what I called Kidister. Like mother like daughter. For the past 9 months it has been all about Snow White. Snow White was every where and made a cameo in almost every photo and home video. All of a sudden, end of September- Aurora, Aurora, Aurora, Aurora. See ya' later SW. Hello SB
